Find the one your confirmation names. If the hotel name mentions a terminal, read the terminal page anyway: several buildings out here sit a long way from the sign on the front of them.

The airport itself
Start with the whole airport if you are still working out how much of the evening is yours. It sets out the three stations and the arithmetic of a layover.
Then go to your terminal. Terminal 5 covers TW6 and SL3. The central pair share one station and a tunnel. Terminal 4 sits across the runway and loses its trains earliest.
The hotel row and the villages
The Bath Road is the old A4 along the northern perimeter, where most airport guests actually sleep. Behind its eastern end sits Harlington, a village with a church older than aviation.
At the western tail of the same road is Longford, two pubs and a lane, five minutes from Terminal 5. South of the airfield, Stanwell is a TW19 village with a reservoir behind it and no station at all.
Towns, junctions and everything else
Hayes is the best connected town out here, twenty minutes from Paddington and nine from the terminals on the Elizabeth line. Hounslow trades proximity for a real high street and a park, fifteen minutes from the gates on the Piccadilly line.
Hatton Cross is the gateway station on the southern side, a minute from the barriers and a long way from anything worth walking to. If the hotel on your confirmation could be anywhere, the airport hotel index sorts the buildings by journey rather than by brand.

One rule applies everywhere on this map: three hours is the shortest booking and her travel is counted inside it. The ladder is on rates and the process is on booking.
