Tiffany, companion in Harlington

Chocolate brown hair, long and heavy, brown eyes, and a petite frame that carries 169 cm without ever taking up much room. Tiffany is mid twenties and she dresses cleanly, nothing fussy, on the principle that a walk from the car to a hotel door should not need a costume change. Soho is her London. Harlington she describes as the opposite of it, which she means kindly, because there is a great deal to be said for a street that goes quiet at ten.

She is quick witted and slightly wicked, and she reads a room fast. If you want the evening to be light she will keep it light, and if you are tired and want to be quiet she will work that out before you have found the words. Her English is fast and expressive. She has a way of making a hotel in a business park feel like a place where something interesting is happening.

The one thing she insists on showing people in this village is the church of St Peter and St Paul, which sits at the end of the old lane with a yew tree in the churchyard that was a landmark before the airport existed. Ten minutes is enough to see it, and it completely changes what you think of the place. The hotel row is five minutes by car behind it, and Hayes and Harlington station is an eighteen minute walk along a road built for lorries.

Her evenings out here have a shape: something small and local first, then the hotel for the rest. Ten minutes in the churchyard or a slow loop of the old lane, which sounds unlikely until you have done it with someone who enjoys it, and then back to whichever large modern building your company booked, where nobody knows either of you.

She is warm and talkative indoors and good at the part of the evening when plans stop mattering. Dinner happens early out here or not at all, so she will usually suggest eating before nine and keeping the rest of the night free. She has no interest in a rushed ending and will happily stay well past the hour you expected her to leave.
